Miss Anya and last weeks A spoon full of sugar sketch

Ok so I just lost my whole post I just finished up:-( and now will start again!

I had made this card with my new Miss Anya from the greeting farm which is in the collection Rain, Snow, Shine and I used sketch 56 from last weeks A spoonful of sugar challenge that I was going to enter but went to put it on their page the day it ended so I decided that I liked it so much that I'm adding it anyway! I used DCWV DP and the CS from the same collection. I used a piece of ribbon I bought from Nikki and I have no clue where I got the metal flowers from?? haha, and the flowers are I think prima, I was just pulling stuff out of drawers for this one:-)

I used a new punch from SU and made the sentiment from the computer. I colored her with my copics!

Copics used were: E000, E00, E11, R20, E29, E35, E34, E37, YG01, Yg03, R22, R24, B02, B000, B04

Friday Sketchers Challenge:-)

I recently added to my collection of stamps some from a Company called Ollyfant and I just love these cuties!!I thought it would be cute for my Friday Sketch Challenge!! I took and masked the girl off to use the bench with her, and I sponged the background after both the girl and bench were masked off. The DP is from DCWV Whimsy and the cs is Bazzill. I added doodlebug jewels to the centers of my flowers which are Kaiser. and I added a touch of some new jute ribbon I ordered from Bunny-Zoe! I think it adds a nice bit of texture:-) I colored the image in with my copics and inked the edges of the papers with the side of one of my copics! My sentiment is from the 1.00 stamps from Michaels and I used My new SU oval punch and scalloped punch for the cardstock around it!

Copics used were: E000, E00, E11, R20, B91, B93, B95, BG13, BG10, E55, E57, E59, E49, E59, E25, E53, YG93, YG95, YG97

2 challenges in one Cute daisy may/MoJo Monday

Linnie gave us the challenge this week to make a card with one of her animal images so since June around here is graduation Day for many kids I decided to make the Wise owl :-) I decided to make it a dual challenge and enter it into the MoJo Monday challenge from last Monday . I was going to make his gown a Blue for our school colors but went with black to get some practice in shading using the copics with the greys! I made the card from Bazzill cs, Used Basic Grey Black Tie collection from scraps Janene had given me:-) Thank you Janene! I distressed the edges and went around them with the black tuxedo momento ink. I used a hint of grey Metallic CS from my stock pile of CS laying around here, made a sentiment in black off the computer that Linnie had with the image but in grey and cut it out with my SU punches I recently got. I used again a few of the flat backed rhinestones I got from Michael's...You just can't have enough bling:-) and that's it.

Copics used were: N1, N5, N7, Yr16, Yr04, E35, E31, E37, gold spica pen for highlights,

Circles, Circles: Cute Daisy May Challenge!

I am adding my card I made for the challenge over at Cute Daisy May , as a guest design team member The theme this week is Circles and I literally took that as I needed to make a circular card:-) I don't know what goes through my head but Circles were all over the craft room last week! I enjoyed kind of stepping outside the box on this one, I usually do square cards its just what I love but I really wanted to try doing a circle which took a bit of practice to get it big enough, I ended up using a creative memories circle template to cut a circle then I measured and got a bigger one to use as my template. I could have made life easier on myself and pulled the cricut machine out but no not me, Ha. I used Bazzill card stock and used DP from Nana's Kitchen from DCWV pad. My circle nestibilities came in handy some circles were cut and stretched behind to fit the way I wanted them to, I colored my image with Copics and I actually took the design apart and printed just the branch and bird on one and the girl on another so I could pop her up with foam dots and bring her off the main circle to add to the depth:-) I inked the edges with a hint of one of my SU ink pads and I added white opal liquid pearls to the outer circle and then the scalloped edges have different size flat back pearls from Michael's craft store, I added hints of spica pens in her hair, her dress and the branch with colors black, chocolate, clear and peach.
Copics used were E000, E00, E11, R20 face, E35 branch, E25, E49, E53, E59 hair, BG000, BG01, B000Bird, G12, G40, G82 bows, Yr20, Yr12 dress

Pink & Greens the Theme

the Theme is Pink & Green:-) which wasn't too hard, because I love pink & green!! I used bazzill CS and DCWV Nanas Nursery, for girls as my Paper choice. I used a cuttlebug folder for an embossed look behind her and colored her with Copics, The flowers were I think Kaiser and I used ultra fine glitter to give them a shimmer:-) the leaves were punched out using my Martha Stewart punch.

Copics used were:

E00, E000, E11, R20 for skin, E25, E37, E35, E29, for Hair, R21, R22, R24 for dress, YG11, G12, G14 for pants

I took the sketch at Spoonful of sugar from this week to use because i thought the image worked well with it:-)

Sugarbowl sketch challenge and Cute Daisy May Guest design team member

I'm hoping everyone's having a great Sunday! It's warm and sunny here today which is a nice change from the wet weather we've had lately.

I decided to make my Sugarbowl card today for the sketch challenge and came on to my blog with a nice surprise from Linnie at Cute Daisy May digi designs, that I had won a Guest- design spot for two months:-) Very exciting stuff for me:-) so my day has been wonderful!

On to my Sugarbowl card: I used my Daisy stamp by Elizabeth Bell for Sugarnellie, I changed the daisies to blue flowers for the challenge which is use blue and green, which with my scenic route DP was Blue greens and yellow greens which I think fit in with the blue and green theme nicely:-) the line is Metropolis I believe, the CS is bazzill, I distressed all the papers a bit and ran one of my copic markers on the edge of them to give a darker tone to the edges. the leaf punch was a Martha Stewart, and the flowers are random from my flower bin, I added a piece of green organza ribbon at the bottom .

Copics used were: E000, E00, E11, R20 face and arms, E35, Y23, Yr23, Hair, BG72, BG75, BG000, G99, YG97, clothes, flowers and grass. Theres a tiny bit of sakura gelly pen in stardust on her belt, and a bit on the flower centers in yellow:-) I used a glue pen on the leaves and used ultra fine glitter to dust them with, I needed a bit of shimmer, and a few tiny flat back pearls from Michael's craft store. I think thats it, I hope you all enjoy what I've come up with
