All That scraps Our Favorite Stamps

Today we are showcasing a project not a card but a project, accompanied by an All That Scraps Image:-) Please go and see what my fellow teamies have come up with at

I have had this cutie called (Swiss Pixie Violet with a Key), for a bit and feel like I haven't used her enough....Soo I dusted her off and found all these wood bag boxes I had bought last year to make up as Valentine gift holders so yes now I am getting them all decorated and giving them to my friends:-) I have been on a purging spree in the craft room over the last two weeks, I am trying very hard to de clutter and in the meantime have messed my back up so have been in alot of pain!

I cut this little girl out, not my norm but i thought she would look cute with her feet dangling off the scallop Nesties:-)

Here is the box alone with some gold tissue tucked into it that I saved from my Vera Bradley haul hehe

Here was a last minute quickie I added to go inside the box, which I have seen my blog land friend Claudia, over at Pretty Pressings, do with the Magnolia Mini Tilda's so I shrank down one of Januarys Swiss Pixies called Blowing Hearts and popped her into a pretty gold frame I had bought in my LCS, I thought it would be cute for my mom who is in a Nursing home with not much space:-)

Other challenges I am entering this project in are:

7 College kids funds: The use of something in their store which I used swiss Pixies Violet with key and Key & Lock , and red, pink and white colors

Creative Belli Blog: Must have a heart on project which my image has a key heart and there are hearts on her hat, and use a forgotten embellishment, which the bag box has been here for a year or so:-) I am de cluttering and making gifts at the same time:-)

Pink Valentine

The week is almost over thank goodness, Which also means a new Challenge at Cute Card Thursday! This week we are getting into the spirit of Valentines Day with Pink Valentine as the theme:-) So bring on the valentine's Day cards and PINK!

I used Wryn-Grow A Little digital image for my card, I don't have many Valentine looking stamps here ...GASP! Hey it's been an interesting week here for me so we will leave it at that:-) LOL

DT Monday with Mr Cricut Crazy

Good Day

Yes it's Monday:-) It's also DT Monday with Mr Cricut Crazy, and we are showcasing a new set of stamps called Christ Is My Life, The sentiments are cute and will work with tons of cards you may want to make, I decided to use another Precious Moments coloring page because I was , long ago an avid collector of these images:-)

I went kind of simple with this one as I didn't want to take away from the image or the sentiment, I would have loved to give this card to my BFF but she is up in Heaven, but she was most definitely on my mind when I was creating this for today:-)

I used copics in as light a color as I could do, well do for me...I love the vibrant colors of the Copic's but tried really hard to keep with the precious moments pastels:-0)

Hello Everyone!

I'm here with my Sundays with Crissy post for the new challenge for the month of February which is "Birthday's" Make us a project that is birthday Themed and go to Sarahs post to add you card to the blue linky button:-) all the directions will be there on what to do:-)

I decided to swap it up a bit and show you all that you can use any image and turn it into what you want, I used Bunny with Flowers which is at Whimsy stamps and It could be an Easter image but what fun is this to use this little cutie for a Birthday card!

I used Copic markers to color my image, amd prisma pencils for the background

Spellbinders circles were used for the image and Paper Trey Ink scallop border die was used for the top, my papers and ribbon were from Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit.

Monkey Business

Today is Our Last Preview of the New January Stamps and Digi's Birthday series at All That Scraps, and it is my turn to get to play with is called CC Designs Monkey Zoo

This little cutie was so much fun to play with and I even added some paper piecing to the present!

I used the spellbinders circles and scalloped circles to mount the image on and used MME Papers with an added sentiment I made on my computer for a personalized sentiment. I used a large rhinestone in green stuck on top of a red button.

Hi Everyone

Today I am combining two post in one since they both fit for the two posts:-)

OK and now Over At All That Scraps we are Reviewing our New January stamps and Digis that just hit the store recently:-) I got to play this time with Swiss Pixie Party Lucy

Over at Cute card thursday the theme for our new challenge is "Your a Gem" well I took that to be Gems which I used in a few spots on my cute card! Our Sponsor is My Craft spot this week and the prize is a stamp set from them:-)

I used a hint of green spica glitter pen on her hair ties and a little bit of yellow on her sash:-)

I pulled out my SU Border punch and added a bit of ribbon I've had, and then cranked out a doily for my background and added gems to that.

Frosty, Icy, Winter Fun colors

I am here with a new Challenge card for Color Me Creative class rooms challenge!

We got to play with a few of their images:-) Thank you to Lili Of the Valley for giving us the images to use, I for one had a great time coloring these beauties! I used the image called Ski Jump!

Heres a close up, I wanted that snow mound to look awesome and big so I originally started with white flock, then added dimensional glaze and I then added snow from flower soft to really get that mound 3-D :-) there is stickles to the water bubbles and dimensional glaze on top of that and

I actually found some old paper that was Christmas and was able to work with this challenge, I used a Prima flower, and a Wild Orchid Crafts metal photo corner and EK Success punches for the snowflakes and leaves with stickles added for glimmer.

All That Scraps 1st Digi Preview of 2012

Hello Everyone:-)

I have been waiting for this post to come to get to tell you all that I have been accepted onto the All That Scraps Digital Design Team:-) Woo Hoo I am so excited! This month my blog turns 3 and I am on the path I want to be on:-) I am so excited to be able to work alongside the other DT members I am doing a happy dance here:-) ahhh o.k. I am now calm enough to tell you about the image I was given to play with:-) she is an adorable CC Designs image called Blowing Hearts,

Christine has Illustrated Awesome Swiss Pixies for us to play with, and I for one had so much fun coloring her up:-)

There are 3 images in the collection being released, Blowing Hearts is already available in the ATS store, But the other two images called Balloon Lucy and Surprise Lucy will be released on Friday the 13th! Please go Here to see these cuties and what the Design Team came up with, and leave a comment on the post to be in for a chance to win one of these new CC Designs Swiss Pixie Cuties! memories of 2011 with my work at Mr Cricut Crazy

Well here we are at another Monday.... and it's DT Monday at Mr Cricut Crazy,

Tanner thought it would be fun to reflect on 2011 and three of our favorite cards we made for the team:-)

I decided to pick three cards that used three different stamp sets that Tanner sent me to be able to create with this past term! I hope you have as much fun looking at a few of my favorites as I did making them:-) I want to thank you all so much for visiting me through out 2011 and hope you continue to stop by in 2012:-) Big things are in my future and a kick off in a week will be my 3rd Blog Anniversary with blog candy from me!

The first one up is a combination of Tanners Halloween Town sentiment with this adorable image from All That Scraps called Hansel from the CC Designs swiss pixie collection

Next up is a tag I made using Christmas, Christmas stamp sets sentiment, on the tag with a Mo Manning image called Sticky!

And last but not least is my adorable Birthday card I used Mr Cricut Crazy's stamps set Birthday, Birthday with Crissy Armstrong's Whatzup with party time accessories hat

a mod/retro kinda mood

Good morning and I hope you all have a great weekend! Yes it's that time for the first Challenge of the new year at Color Me Creative Classroom! and to get the whole Design Team moving into our creative mode Suzanne has the theme as: Retro/Mod with the colors Hot Pink,Pinks, Black white and cream! Our wonderful Spnsor Guylou's Inimitability has given us a few cute images to play along with:-) Thank you so much! The lucky winner of this challenge will win a fabulous prize from GuyLou's:-) Suzanne will be out and about the next few months on the road teaching and If you would love to take a class and meet her go HERE to check her schedule We also have a brand new group Suzanne is starting this week and Its SmashBooks called "We R Smash bookin' scrappin' and journalin' and I think it's going to be a blast! the group is free to join and there will be challenges to keep us going:-) go have a look I am so excited can you tell?? and yes I have all my smash book goodies just waiting for the kick off !
O.K. now on to the details:I picked "Eve" to use as my image with her Hot pink shirt and I added paper pieced flare pants with a peek of hot pink in them too:-)
Here's a closeup of what I did, I was first kind of stumped on exactly what colors I wanted to do her pants and then decided to add a tiny bit of paper piecing to the bell bottoms:-) I even made those cute little white rolled flowers in the closeup adding a tiny pearl to each center! Let's just say I need a bit more work on rolling them! The rest of the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts flowers
Here you go the whole card, I used the stampin up border punch that is my favorite, hehe and the papers are MME Quite Contrary for the Pink scrap and the black & white dots is just a random piece from the craft store, I think that's about it and hope you go over and join all of us for some fun coloring:-) Other Challenges I would like to enter this in are: If the shoe fits, scrap it: use up old stash

Happy Thursday Everybody!

Cute Card thursday has a new Challenge for the week and it's full steam ahead:-) The new theme this week is "What's New?"

I used a brand new Digital image I was able to buy recently as a digital, and now is a Rubber stamp also :-) at LaLa Land Crafts, And this cutie is called

Here is a closeup view I added a bit of Ruby Slippers stickles to her flowers and a bit of iridescent stickles for her wings:-) and she was colored with Copic Markers

I can't believe it's already 2012! Where did the past year go?? Add a quote

As the year nears an end, I've done alot of thinking about the New Year and what I want for myself from it, and I have things on my to-do list that I want to try and follow through on like everyone I guess:-)

This week for Crafts 4 Eternity the challenge is to add a quote on your card:-) I decided to ....Yes not color an image I wanted to make the Quote my focal point and ..Yes I know it's a Walt Disney quote, but anyone that knows me knows that I love all Disney and when I found this quote I felt something :-) and needed to use it! As I mentioned above I have been taking a look at this past year and what I want for the new year and what I want for myself and for my blog, and I want to stretch my wings and try new things:-) I had email my sweet friend and Boss lady from Crafts 4 Eternity, Michele and explained that I feel that I would like to stretch my wings and grow a little bit more and get to explore other creative avenues and with a heavy heart, I have decided to step down from Crafts 4 Eternity to maybe try new things and push myself more then I have, I have loved being with the girls and Michele on the design team and think of them as family, I will check on them often and, I appreciate Michele's having faith in me when she added me to her team, and will always remember her kindness....Thank you so much Michele,

I added some American crafts paper and a piece of black flowered I had in my scrap bin with a bit of Gold glitter cardstock:-) she has a bit of Rhinestones added to her dress for the occasion!

Hello to everyone

This post should have been up already but I seem to have gotten some sort of virus:-(

This weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is to Emboss something on your card, and that can be dry emboss like I did or wet emboss with the heat gun and embossing powder. The sponsor is Digi Doodle shop and they are giving a $10.00 gift certificate to their store

I used a image I had here from Meljens designs

I don't know about the rest of you, but the days are going way too quick for me, and my to-do list is growing! :-)

We start of today with a new challenge for CUTE CARD THURSDAY, The new theme for this week is STRIPES, Yes that's right use some sort of stripes on your project :-) Our sponsor this week is Tickled Pink Stamps, and the prize they are giving away this week is:

Color Me Creative Color Challenge

Hi, How is everyone's Christmas shopping going? I am not into the whole scene at the stores this year:-( People seem more unfriendly and it's kind of sad! I have no clue how I will pull this off this year but will figure it out this week, haha

This Challenge at Color Me Creative Copic classroom will go until January 6th to give all a break for the holiday's, Suzanne was gracious enough to set the challenge up like this for some down time:-) The challenge is to use golds, creams and whites....Yes I know a bit challenging but lets push ourselves a bit to say we could do it! I struggled on this one but always enjoy a challenge:-) Just make sure you use copic markers, promarkers or colored pencils have been added:-)

Reading is Fundamental is the charity I have chosen to sponsor this season. As you all know I am an avid reader and it amongst my very favorite things to do in my spare time. I truly believe that literacy and reading opens up many doors in life for everyone. Not only can you find joy in books but it opens your eyes to other cultures, places and people that is so worthwhile. And just the fact that a huge part of life involves being able to read--to get through school, get a great job and navigate through life. For me teaching children to read early on in life is a MUST yet so many children are not provided with the basic materials to learn to read. So this charity is a non-profit that provides books to children and opportunities to bring literacy into areas that need it!

I used a Lili Of the Valley stamp and used the Copic "y" family to creat the gold effect, it looks yellow but as I used the photo Suzanne put up as influence I picked the "yellow" family to go with adding touches of gold stickles and spic pens

I'm still sitting wondering where the week went? This is not good that the days are flying by and nothing is getting done for Christmas:-( I will pull this off but YIKES!

Ok on to the details for this weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity: This week it is a color challenge of Green, cream, and Red:-) That was a bit of a twist to add the tan in but I did what I could with the paper I had:-) I have cream and red ribbon, and the paper is somewhere in-between cream and a light tan. winter Is Snow Much Fun blog hop

OK so we have a fun blog hop going on over at Mr Cricut Crazy and our theme is "winter Wonderland" and since I need a few more cards for Christmas I added a Christmas sentiment, but there are plenty of other ways to use the Christmas, Christmas stamp set which is why we are doing this theme! You should really start at Tanner's (Mr Cricut Crazy's Blog HERE) and work you way throught the hop but if you already started there and you came from Carolannes blog (Logans crafty momma) Then you are on the right track! color challenge

Happy Friday all,

Another week down:-( I'm not sure where it went, but I love having time with my husband so It's o.k.

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity it's a color challenge and I have added the combo here on my post for you to see, so let the creative mojo flow:-) Our Sponsors this week are Stamping All Day (winners choice of 3 free digi's) and the Digi Garden, (winners choice of 5 free digi's)

I used a hanglar & stanglar image I purchased

I had a tiny bit of an issue with the colors but then found whitewash paper and thought it would look cute with a SU folder and then I scuffed up the coating to let the lavender flowers show through:-)

Reds for Rememberance

Happy Thursday Everyone.

I know Im late with this post:-( I have been nuts the past few days trying to find my husbands social security card which I never found but it knocked me behind in the search!

This weeks challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is Reds for remembrance! I remember when I was a little girl and would go to town with my dad around May is when I think the veterans would be on the corner with the paper poppy's and a little poem, and look for a few dollars for donations for the vets, my dad being in WW2 always gave a donation and hung the poppy under the rear view mirror, It brought back lots of memories of dad and so I decided to use an angel and add some of my own paper poppy's

I only have one picture to show you this time as I have no clue what the deal is with my camera or it might just be me after the past few days but my close up shot was blurry and I just didn't have time to set up and retake the picture:-(

Where are the weeks going? just way too quick for me!

This weeks challenge for Crafts 4 Eternity is a sketch challenge, I've included it at the bottom of my post:-) We have two wonderful sponsors this week, Karens Doodles which will give choice of 3 digi images and Bugaboo which will give 7 free digi images:-)

Sundays With Crissy : Untraditional Christmas colors

Welcome to

A new challenge at Sundays with Crissy, where the challenge for the month of November is:

Make a card using non- traditional colors,

which means no reds and greens, which I sort of pulled off, with My "My Minds Eye" papers and I think Making memories, but the lighting was not my friend and trying to tweak it did not help so my photos look washed out but if I brightened it to the way the card should be then it looks like I used red cardstock which I didn't use, It is actually a Flamingo pink:-)

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday! This week our challenge is to use Glittery, sparkly paper, or things with fun bright colors:-) well Thats right up my ally! Some of the DT made fireworks cards:-) but I decided to go with the sparkly things added as I was having a hard time with fireworks papers or images.

I used Magnolia Halo Tilda from this years Christmas line:-)

I used a yellow stickles on the trim of her dress and clear stickles on her wings.

I found a DCWV stack called that I forgot I bought and it had glitter trimmed paper with silver glitter in the plaid, the green paper has glittery swirls on it that matched the green lines in the plaid paper:-) but it was a scrap from Halloween cards I made! The lace is from ebay, and green velvet ribbon was in my ribbon pile:-) I added a few wild orchid crafts rose buds and a daisy flower that may be a Prima but I was given a bunch from a friend (Thank you Janene) and I'm not sure which company

DT Monday with Mr Cricut Crazy

Welcome to a new DT monday with Mr Cricut Crazy:-)

Today I used Mr Cricut Crazy stamp set "Mans Best friend, Vol. 1" and paired it with an image form Meljens designs:-) called Mummy Dog

I added scraps from my overflowing bin in the printed dots and SU Cardstock

I got the black flower adornment from a Halloween pack from a local store and added a button and rhinestone to the middle, I colored him with Copic markers which I will list a bit later:-)

Happy Saturday! It's a new Challenge for Color Me Creative: and It's all about BOYS! Anything that is boy themed:-)

This is a nice surprise right? We all picked a Mr Cricut Crazy Stamp set to showcase, and I picked........ Yes Christmas, Christmas! I fell in love with this MelJen's designs digital image called Prancer and thought it would be perfect to pair with Tanners Christmas set:-)

Here is a close up, I used Copic markers for coloring with a bit of yellow stickles for the bells

Here's my complete card:-) I used Stampin up DP and the red with white dots is from a paper pack from Paper Trey Ink. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts with the white ones Inked with Stampin up Cherry Cobbler ink pad, They have a tiny bit of stickles to them, and the bells were from a local craft store. Again the sentiment is from Mr Cricut Crazy: Christmas, Christmas stamp set.
