Crafts 4 Eternity-Recipe 1

Welcome all:-) Here's the first challenge for Crafts 4 Eternity for 2011:-) Michele has a sketch for this week and then she is changing the challenge a bit and I think you will all like it:-) The challenge is to use the sketch I have added below, the prize is a card kit from Crafts 4 Eternity!
I decided to use Crissy Armstrong's, Digital image called "A Good Book" ! I opened up my brand new paper stack from DCWV called Linen Closet for something new, with a piece of doodlebug trim in brown, (which seems to look more like a red/brown in the photo), to accent the card . I distressed the papers just a touch for a little bit of white to show. I used an EK success punch for the flourish accents, and the sentiment and punch are from Stampin Up! Flat backed Rhinestones were added for a little bit of sparkle:-)
I used Copic markers to color in my image, my card is 6x6 inches, on a CS base of Bazzill.
Other Challenges I will be entering my card in are:
Papertake weekly :Anything goes
Stamp something- a weekly challenge: Use a digi image
Cute card Thursday: Use something old- I used the doodlebug trim that I've had for a year and just opened it:-) and my flourish punch that I had to have and only used it one time:-(

Please go by C4E to see what the other DT members have come up with and if you like the sketch why not try it out.
Supplies used: Copic markers, Punches:
EK success swirl punch, punch for sentiment Stampin Up

New challenge

Sunday's With Crissy Challenge #13 "Ribbons"This is the First Challenge of the New Year, over at Sundays with Crissy, and I'm busting at the seams that I am now a part of the Sunday's with Crissy Design Team...I was asked to stay! I really didn't want my Guest Dt spot to end and was so very happy that I will be able to stay with the wonderful team and Crissy:-)
Ok on to the task at hand which is the details on the Challenge for this month. The Challenge is to add Ribbon to your card, Well thats easy for me because I love ribbon, and this time around I used a pretty striped ribbon from my Stampin up collection:-) I used Crissy's Digi image called "Hey Chickie", now I know this image is a Spring image but I thought, "Why not use her for anytime" right? And I need to get started on a few Valentine's Day cards so I colored her with my copic markers, I added a hint of pink spica in her ruffles. I distressed the edges of the papers just a tiny bit to add a hint of white edges, used my Stampin Up border punches to go all the way around the Bazzill red CS. a combo of old Fancy Pants paper and I think Bo Bunny was used and a few self stick flat backed pearls and here you have a Cute Valentine's Day Card:-) I've added this card to a few other challenges listed below:
If you want to join in the fun, the challenge will be up the whole month of January with every few days another Team Member having the spot light for her creation! You need to go back to Crissy's original post HERE to link up your card...look for the blue link box.
I would also like to add this card to these challenges:
Digi Doodle - anything goes challenge
Sew Many Cards- anything goes/new things

Sunday's With Crissy Challenge #12 Christmas is coming! or Winter is Here!
Welcome back
Two Posts in one day :-) It's my turn to share my card for December's Challenge Crissy has come up with, which is either Christmas themed or Winter:-) I picked Christmas, I have to catch up on my card making by this weekend or there will be no cards from me, Yikes! My image is a new Angel from Crissy called "Touched By Love" which can be found Here at Whimsy Stamps. Why not have a try in the challenge, If you are one of the first 12 entrys, Crissy is giving an extra digital image plus the chance at the end of the month to win the regular prize! Go to Crissy's Post HERE to enter your card! This challenge is for the Month of December.
I used Graphic 45 Papers that I've had in my stash, with Bazzill and Bo Bunny CS. My image was colored with Copic Markers on Georgia Pacific CS, a tiny bit of red Spica on the berries of the holly, SU ultra fine glitter for her wings and the blanket, I used Stampin ups corner and border punch that I recently ordered, which I thought was just so elegant to add to this beautiful angel and Baby. The ribbon is actually three different ribbons I put together from my ribbon collection.
Supplies used:
Image: Crissy Armstrong's "Touched BY Love"
Punches: Stampin Up
Copic Markers
Card stock: Bo Bunny and Bazzill
Glitter: Stampin UP

Twinkling Stars R#61

Here we are at another Friday,
We had a wonderful quiet ThanksGiving yesterday and today is the start of a new Challenge over at Crafts 4 Eternity:-)
The Challenge is: 1. To use the sketch below
2. Add some stars somewhere on your project!
The prize this week is 3 digi images, Christmas ones have been added recently
I decided to use my wonderful Magnolia Tilda holding her star wand, and glued tiny star confetti to the dangling stars:-) Some yellow MS type of confetti glitter added to the large star. The DP is from a DCWV stack I've had and thought it would be fun to use just the part with the snowman, I added SU ultra fine glitter to the snowman and snow drifts, some more confetti stars were glued to the background and prima flowers with a glitter covered brad were added to finish off the bottom. a EK success border punch was used and it had a tiny dot cut out above each scallop that I hid with the aqua and brown cs. I made the card 5.5x5.5.
I would also like to add this card to the following:
paper play : stars
paper take weekly : Cut it out
