Thank You Card:-)

Im away right now but since we haven't left the room yet I decided to add this to my page:-)
This week we were challenged to make a Thank you card which I don't have any so this was a wonderful time to have one just in case I need it:-)
DP is Basic grey and PTI. CS is Bazzill and all edges were distressed and inked, I used SU ink for edges, I colored my Cute Daisy may with Copics . The flat gems are from Michaels that were a cluster and I cut them apart, sentiment is from my computer, If you get a chance go check out the wonderful creations by the other DT members:-) Cute daisy may
These colors were a little different for me to work with, I started to doubt my choice until I let go a little and worked with them and I really enjoyed the mix of these certain colors and my copics:-)

"The Word" Challenge

This week for Cute Daisy Mays Challenge is "the word" meaning the sentiment or word is the main part of the card. I found a fairy poem and thought it was perfect to go with Linnie's new Fairy sheet 81:-)

The Dp is from Autumn Leaves, and a piece of swiss dot Bo Bunny from my scraps:-) I used my MS leave punch and a prima flower for the bottom, The card is 6X6, the edges are all inked with momento summer sky, the sentiment I found in a bunch of online fairy poems that I liked! I cut out the ovals using my Nestibilities and colored my fairy with Copics, cut her out and added dimensional glaze to her wings with a hint of ultra fine glitter to give her that sparkle:-) I added some bling to the oval that came from Michael's craft store and a pearl for the middle of the little flower:-) Please go to Cute Daisy Mays blog to see the other wonderful creations from my fellow DT members:-)
Copics used: E000, E02, E11, YG01,YG05, YG06, YR21, YR24, E99, RV17, RV34,RV32, R20, BG01

Floral Fantasy

I made this card right before we went on a short trip to Disney for a get together with friends we see every few years, the theme for Cute Daisy May is Floral:-) so I used one of my new images Linnie sent me and yes they remind me of fall and its summer but I fell in love with the colors I picked so her it is.
The image was colored with copics, I used some prima bling that I cut up and colored the rhinestone with my copic markers, flowers from prima too, the leaves are from a MS punch I have! I used my copic marker to feather some orange onto the edges of the one flower and darken up the other flower, my sketch was followed by one that was done by Sandra Dry, really nice sketch for this cutie:-) and I used Dusty durango CS from SU. I sponged color for the sky and grass just simply because I didn't like the plain white around her,

2 challenges in 1 CDM & Friday Sketchers

Linnie gave us the theme this week over at Cute Daisy May of "Hot, Hot Hot" in the color family which I knew would be reds, yellows and orange:-) I used my cutie girl from sheet 11, Picked my DP from a mat stack I got from Janene:-) which is the new Basic Grey June Bug line. I'm adding this card also to the Friday Sketchers challenge. I added Bazzill CS, Used a small maroon ink to ink all my edges just a bit, the trims again are from Janene, I used two brads from the doodlebug line of cherries jubilee but cut off the stems and added pop dots to the back. I colored my image with my copics and added a tiny dot of black spica pen in the center of her flower in her hair! I had a wonderful time doing this card I love the layout and will be using it again:-)

Copic class I taught with Tilda:-)

I just had my second Copic class that I taught to a wonderful group of ladies that I'm proud to say have become my friends:-) I decided this class was for them to work on hair variations and skin tones! They had a wonderful time and by the end of the night they "got it" their shading was wonderful and I'm proud of them:-) I wanted to put up the card I made for them to make after they were finished shading , so this card here was the model I made for them:-)

Janene was supposed to teach the class with me, but decided to let me loose on my own: I think of it as the mother bird dropping the baby out of the nest to "learn to fly" I was a bit afraid to teach the class on my own but agreed to teach it with Janene and found when I got to her house that first night that I was teaching it and she was in the wings - now she knows I would have had a panic attack if I knew I was teaching by myself but Janene the trooper she is knew I could do it and I did!! I'm proud of myself that I moved out of the box on this one!

I made the card using DP by Chatterbox, card stock was bazzill, and the yellow is a paper trey ink piece, the oval sentiment was from Magnolia but I did my own version on the computer since i hadn't bought the saying and needed something, I used my SU new Oval punches for the sentiment, add a little fun tulle I had in my cabinet and my Tilda from the spring line and colored with my Copics:-)

( I used these colors because I knew the girls had the yellow and green markers from the week before so I made it easier of them to do it the same way!

copics used were:E000, E00, E11, R20, YR21, YR23, YR24, YG93, YG95YG97, C9, C5, C3, E25, E49, E53, E59 and a hint of spica pen on the bees wings:-)

I hope you like it, I know the girls did:-)

I used DCWV DP and the CS from the same collection. I used a piece of ribbon I bought from Nikki and I have no clue where I got the metal flowers from?? haha, and the flowers are I think prima, I was just pulling stuff out of drawers for this one:-)

I used a new punch from SU and made the sentiment from the computer. I colored her with my copics!

Copics used were: E000, E00, E11, R20, E29, E35, E34, E37, YG01, Yg03, R22, R24, B02, B000, B04
