Mahalo with Hula Girl Ellie and Paper Nest Dolls!

Hi Everyone!

I am a Guest Designer for 

The Paper Nest Dolls, for today, and Christine let me have

Hula Girl Ellie, to use! 

Mahalo to you Christine, for having me today:-)

Now anyone that knows me, knows I love the Polynesian Resort at Disney!

so being able to create with this hula girl was a blast:-)

 I had these cute papers I had purchased at a craft store and made my own computer sentiment with the simple word, "Mahalo",  which means "Thank You" I cut the flowers out from a second image and glue them down to give a bit of depth. I had a wonderful starfish charm that fit perfect with the twine on this 5.5 X 5.5 card,

This is by far the hardest post I have had to write, as it is the last Challenge for Color Me Creative Classroom for awhile

we will all miss being Suzanne's Team, it has been a wonderful past 3 years for me personally. I have made many new friends and some have become like family to me:-) I want to say a BIG Thank you to Suzanne for taking a chance on me, adding me to the team, and becoming my friend:-) xoxoxo
This is not the end, just a different beginning!

Sweet Dreams with Bedtime Ellie

Hi Everyone!

I'm here today with a little bit older stamp, from 

Paper Nest Dolls that I wanted to give some love:-)

Bed Time Ellie 

I think she is adorable in her PJ's with her Teddy and Bunny slippers!

I added some pretty Aqua and white cording I had been saving with some wonderful paper flowers.

Copic markers were used to color this sweetie . Bedtime Ellie was so much fun to color that I started off with lighter pink for her robe but then darkened it up to make the colors a bit more fun!

Little Chick Avery!

Hello Everyone,

I'm here today,  with one the newest Dolls stamps called "Little Chick Avery"

I used Crate Paper "Love Notes" with Bazzill Cardstock, to give my card a "pop" of colors. 

 my Image was colored using Copic Markers, she was so much fun to work with, I decided to go with fun, Bright colors, as I am so done with "winter"! LOL. I could color her hair all day long :-) 

Don't forget to go over to the Paper Nest Dolls where I added my post today, as each day there is new inspiration from all the DT members:-)

I am also using this cutie as my extra project for Color Me Creative since I used my Copic Markers to color her up! If you are looking for coloring inspiration go over to

TSQ Royal Color Challenge #4

Welcome Everyone to this months Royal Color Challenge

The team does a color challenge on the 15th of every month

this month we challenge you to use the colors listed below, each computer screen may show these colors a bit different, so we ask that you try and get as close to what you see,

I used Stampin Up CS, I picked a pale pink, a purple and orange I had in my pile of paper:-)

I used an image from Wee Stamps called Flower Fairy's , added a piece of DP from a paper pad I've had for awhile, from DCWV from the baby girl paper pad, and colored her with Copic Markers

 Copic Markers used were: BV000, BV02, BV08, YR02, YR04,E47,E44,E42,E41,G82

I took my Viva Pearl pen and highlighted all the little dots in Ice White.

CMC 1st 2014 Challenge

Here we are at the very 1ST Challenge for the New Year for 

Color Me Creative Classroom

Hope you had a wonderful holiday & that 2014 brings you all much happiness, health and love!!  We are taking it easy with our first challenge of the New Year...Anything Goes...so color any type of image any way you'd like & have fun!!

        THE PRIZE FOR THIS CHALLENGE IS:

ONE $10 Gift Certificate to any Digi Store of your choosing

I used An Image from Paper Nest Dolls called Winter Mail Ellie

 I used papers from DCWV winter basics, and a sentiment that was a free digi and a Stampin Up embellishment

Copics were used for the image in :C,9,8,6,4,3,1, B97,95,93,91, E35,44,43,42,31,R35,37,22,24,

Prisma pencils in grey for background were added and then I used Viva pearl pen for the snowflakes:-) Chunky glitter was used for the snow.

We're Friends and Family

Hi everyone!!  It's almost Christmas and though we all have family and friends we enjoy spending time with at this time of the year, we also have family and friends that we don't see or visit with often enough but still mean just as much to us!  Us gals on the Design Team of Color Me Creative Challenge Site wanted to take a moment to say send a big HUG and a special thanks to our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.

Suzanne HAS to be the easiest and sweetest person to work with and, as many of you know from reading her blog, about the funniest too (though sometimes we ALL think she'd be better off leaving the house in bubble wrap! LOL)  *Kidding!!*

As you may have figured out, Suzanne adores the time she spends with her family and quite often shares her travels and outings with us.  So, as a little way to encourage her to continue doing what she loves best AND to keep sharing it with us... the DT would like to invite you to share in our little blog hop sharing our creations for Suzanne that remind us of family, sharing, recording memories and love.  Suzanne is a perfect example of how to share as much time as you can with those you love and to create memories that will last a lifetime for generations to come.

So here's to you, Suzanne... we love you, your crazy ways and think you are just like family to us as well.
            I had an extremely hard time with this card, I think it was just hard with the holiday coming for me, and normally I go all out with embellishments but as I have so much on my plate right now, I kept it simple since I had to recolor like 7 times, yes 7.......we won't go there right now Bahahaha
                                     I used Wee Stamps "Berry" , as I know how much Suzanne loves her kittys! and this looked like my perfect choice!  The paper is from  Stampin Up Christmas paper from this year:-)  Lighting here today was also not my friend, I think it was a total off day for me, for sure!
Anyway Suzanne you know how much I love you Honey and thank you for all you do for all of us on the DT! I enjoy the "family of Friends" you have put together xoxo

I have had this paper from a Taylored Expressions monthly card kit and thought this was perfect to go with my image this month! adding a cut out from the pad to give my card the sentiment!

I'm here with my card today using

I have had this cutie done for a bit and saved him for my post

I'm also using this adorable card for an extra project using Copic markers 

at Color Me Creative Classroom

for inspiration to all that use Alcohol makers !

I used some scraps of papers I couldn't part with and a snowflake charm I've had ! a few half back pearls in red are berries added to my fern die cut that was a Marianne D die.

I made this card a bit ago and I will try to remember as many of the copic markers I used:

E47,44,42, C7,3, W7,5,3,B, B97,95,93, E000, E00, E11, YR18,15

I used a tiny bit of the Frantage sprinkled around for the snow:-)

I got to create with 

Uriah the Undertaker

I added paper piecing for the front of the casket in wood grain,

 I used Echo Park DP and a Stampin Up stamp for the sentimet

This was a fun change and I ended up needing a Halloween card for my son so this is perfect, Hahaha

Pumpkin Patch Emma

Good Morning Everyone! I'm here today to share  with you my card, using 

Pumpkin Patch Emma!

I actually decided to make this more of a Halloween card and added some black and a cute free printable sentiment I found on a search online:-)

Over at the Paper Nest Dolls Blog there is a new post each day from the DT so please go and see what we've all been up to:-)

I used Copic markers, and Grand Spellbinder circle dies to fit behind my image.

Below is a closer look, I added YR18 in darker feather strokes for the lines in my pumpkins
