Today I'm sharing a little cutie, that Crissy Armstrong created called "Sandy," that you can find at Whimsy Stamps!
Over at Sundays with Crissy, Challenge #18, the theme is "Here Comes The Sun" This month our challenge theme is "Here Comes The Sun". You may interpret that any way you wish, and create a card, scrapbook layout, or other paper craft using either rubber or digi stamps. There will be 5 free digi's given to the winner! There is a whole month to join but remember it is till June 30th.I colored my cutie with Copic markers and added Crystal Lacquer to the pail and shovel but no matter what i did I couldn't get the shine to show on the pictures:-( I added to the bottom a new item I had gotten in the winter called Mudd Puddles- Malibu Beach, which is like sand in a milky substance that when dry is clear, and you kind of spread it on to the thickness that you would like! I was going for the look;-)
Yes, I pulled out my sewing machine just for this card because I just thought it would add to the layering effect! I used my pack of Sweet Summertime from Echo Park for the DP and the fun sun sticker, and sentiment. I hope you've enjoyed my creation today, remember to check back at Sundays with Crissy often as each design team member has her own day throughout the month!
